SMARTDIVER SENSOR TECHNOLOGIES
"WE OFFER FOUR SENSOR TECHNOLOGIES, EACH ENGINEERED TO ADDRESS SPECIFIC PROCESS REQUIREMENTS."
ULTRASONIC SENSOR
Default option. Used for 95% of all applications due to its versatility and reliability.
-
The Ultrasonic Sensor measures both Suspended Solids and Liquor Concentration simultaneously.
-
Density measurement available.
-
It determines Suspended Solids through Sound Attenuation and Density/Specific Gravity through Acoustic Impedance.
Application:
All Thickener types, Clarifier and CCD applications across all Ore types.
Rated to Tanks up to 106° C.
-
Uses two LEDs and two Detectors positioned at different distances to create Multiple Light Paths through the Slurry.
-
Directly correlates Turbidity Measurements to Suspended Solids Concentration.
-
The Algorithm automatically cancels out errors from dirt build-up, electronic aging, and light decay.
Application:
Fine Particle Suspensions and low-to-medium Solids Concentration.
Rated for Ambient Temperature Tanks.
LIGHT ATTENUATION SENSOR
ELECTRODELESS CONDUCTIVITY SENSOR
Used exclusively in Alumina applications.
-
Uses Toroidally Wound Coils that induce current in the solution loop.
-
Measures Electrical Conductivity without Direct Electrode Contact.
-
Conductivity correlates to Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Ionic Concentration.
-
Fouling-resistant due to Electrodeless Design.
Application:
Chemical-intensive Mineral Processing Circuits.
Rated to Tanks up to 106° C.
BACKSCATTER SENSOR
-
Uses Near-Infrared Light sent through a Fibre Optic Probe.
-
Measures Light Scattered back from Suspended Particles.
-
Dual Fibre Design: one sends light, the other receives backscattered light.
-
Works from very low (0.001%) to extremely high (100%) Suspended Solids.
-
Intrained Air does not affect the measurement.
Application:
Closed Tank Tops.
Rated to Tanks up to 106° C.
