On the Rake Drive, a Rake Switch is positioned at the SmartDiver®'s dive location, and a Rake Tag for the Rake Arm.
When the Rake Arm passes the dive position, the Tag triggers the Switch.
Using this signal to calculate when it is safe to dive.

By using tags for both arms, the SmartDiver® receives a signal every 180°.
For bi-directional rake arms, each Tag will have two sections, for a small and a large pulse, spaced 3 to 5 inches apart.
In the forward direction, the large section's pulse comes first, then a gap, then the small section's pulse. Vice-versa for the reverse direction.
